Sheesh

Headache FINALLY gone after 5 days. Not my longest, which was 7 and occurred before I was diagnosed with migraines - two years in a row, right during oak-pollen season, I had a headache for a full week that responded to nothing.

In other news, sat down to mat and pack some art to send out (late!) to a Tulsa convention the first weekend in August, only to discover that like an idiot I'D FORGOTTEN TO BUY MATS. I had backing boards, bags, tape, no mats. I shall be doing that at lunch tomorrow, matting them and filling out paperwork tomorrow night, and rushing out Friday at lunch to mail the box. Aarg, cutting it way too close for safety - I should have done this last week.

And earlier this week I got a book in the mail from paperbackswap.com that had been mailed 7 months, almost to the day, ago. I'd already reported it as lost and gotten a replacement. XD Ah well, listed it on my account and it got claimed almost immediately and sent out Tuesday.

Also got Clare Dunkle's The Hollow Kingdom from paperbackswap.com, and started reading it, but it's not grasping my attention yet. Have re-started Larklight, which bounced me off in the first ten pages some time ago, but I've made it to page 40 now.

I'll get back to the condfw.org website tomorrow. I can't deal with it any more today.

I'm just glad your head feels better! (And sorry that I couldn't be of any help on the CSS thing ... the only thing I've been productive of the past few days is Saiyuki-related fluff ... .)

Heh. I did have a brainstorm on that crack!Bleach fic I mentioned to you waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay long ago that might or might not help me write at it, but other than that, nothing productive on the creative front (headaches don't help that XD).

That CSS thing threatened to give me another migraine, though. And I didn't notice it until I'd already tweaked the theme's design to be tolerable and was about to call it done, when I happened to look over at IE, where I'd been checking other things and ... aaaaargh that stupid logo! And I hadn't changed anything but the logo filename from the original one, which worked. AAAargh!

ahahaha wow, well I can sympathize with the mat thing. I glanced over to 'do inventory' (aka, was too lazy to really do it so just looked in that general area) and went 'oh wow I have a huge stack of mat board, I'm good. Then when I went to cut I discovered that ALL of those mats were my nifty shiney metallic inner mats. Not a single regular mat in the lot. Just this REALLY bright metallic that would never in a million years work as a top mat, and then one sheet of this stuff that looked like green dragon scales. *laughs*

I had plenty of mats for larger pictures, but as I have no large-format paper at the moment, I was just going to send 8x10" prints matted into 11x14" mats (plus, ClearBags.com sent me this awesome box with an order of backing boards that'll fit them!), and when I went to get the mats ... aaarg, none for 8x10" pictures! I think I'd just had "lots of mats" in the back of my mind, without the size attached to that observation.
