... I want everyone to know that I have a really happy garage-door opener.



And this is the cat a couple of weeks ago, seeing the kitty in the mirror for the first time (and starting to charge up her lasers).



And her in a sunny spot a couple of days ago, washing her face.



Anyway, on Friday evening, she sat over near the French doors, backlit in the light coming in through the blinds.

Actually, my childhood cat was a girl tiger named (hangs head in shame) Mittens, who looked quite a bit like your girl. All round eyes and pink nose.

We just do whatever our feline masters tell us, eh?

She's very much like the tabby I had growing up, who was named Dakota. :)

And this one - whose name is Nefer, who answers to 'Kitty' but who doesn't really seem to have a name stick - also has a heart shape (http://www.magatsu.net/pic/2008-06-16/cat-stairs-2.jpg) on the back of her neck. XD

God, I keep forgetting her name. I knew it was something Egyptian. Gatz almost got named Akhenaten because of the eyeliner. But it was an awfully big name for a kitten!

How's she settling into the new place?

She's doing pretty good - I think she's just about taken possession of the place. :) She still REEEEALLY wants to go into the garage, but that's because it's a Closed Door and therefore she must be on the other side.
