Does anyone here have a clue how to set Windows XP so that when yout ake a screenshot, all it does is save it to the clipboard, NOT open up that stupid ()#*()#*%#(*$)(# PrintKey thing? I hate that with a passion. My cursory searches have so far not pulled up answer.
I did it once before, either on the 2000 box I started with here or back when we upgraded to XP. But my computer was replaced last week, so I've got a brand-new install of XP and I can't figure out how to do this. :P
ETA: As I say in the comments below, I've figured out it's an add-on that's activated when you take a screenshot that was obviously put onto the disk image by tech resources here under the (mistaken) impression that it's useful*. I'm trying to figure out if I can permanently disable it *without* deleting it, because I have a feeling the nightly updates will notice it's missing and re-install it. But if I can't figure out another way, I'll do that.
* Maybe for people who take screenshots of perfectly normal error messages and paste them into bloated Word documents to send to people instead of just typing the error message into the email. Not for those of us who do GRAPHICS PROFESSIONALLY.
