ETA: It bizarrely seems to be propagating. Weird.
ETA2: I manage this site with Wordpress, and thus validation errors, etc. are not really under my control. You can stop telling me about them. If they're causing a problem, I'll switch to another Wordpress theme at some point.
The problem seems to be that my Wordpress install is seemingly propagating changes I make to layout, instead of reflecting it instantly. No, I don't understand.
ETA3: Not needed, at least temporarily, as I found an updated version of the Wordpress theme I'm using and shall shortly be installing it to see if it plays better with Wordpress 2.5.1.

Additionally, I can not find any mention of the word "human" in the page source.

I don't understand why it would need to propagate, but...

Your code has several errors when run through W3C's markup validator (http://validator.w3.org/). I've used the validate by direct input, and it has found 17 errors on multiple pages. You might want to look at this, as there are certain errors that can make things disappear inconsistently across browsers. When it validates, see if the problem still occurs.
Good luck.

It's not MY code.
I'm using Wordpress to maintain the site, as the footer notes, so all blame rests squarely on their shoulders. (Or on the shoulders of the people who wrote the plugin, if a plugin is causing it.) Precisely because I got sick and tired of having to spend way too much time making my code work cross-browser. And this may be heresy for one who is a professional webmaster as I am but: I don't care if it doesn't validate as long as it looks the same and works the same across the majority of the major browsers.
ETA; Er, sorry, that came across more strongly than I intended it to. Both Paypal and the latest version of Wordpress are making me exceptionally cranky today and I seem to be taking it out on others unwarrantedly.
But I found an update for the theme I'm using, so I'm going to install that and see if everything improves.

I don't know which parts are yours and which are Wordpress, but there may be an error that the W3C validator could find for you that could shed some light on the cause of the problem. And then you'll know if it's something you can edit or if it's something controlled by Wordpress.
I've worked with code generated by an outside source that I can't change before, and I know there's only so much that can be done to make sure it works. And I know it's not always possible or necessary to validate completely. But I suggested you take a look at what W3C is calling "errors" because, if you're getting strange results, it may help you pinpoint the root of the problem. I generally find it helpful in that respect.

And at the moment I've updated the theme, which changed the majority of the code anyway, and caused the things that were going bad before to work. :)

Anyway, I'm glad to hear it's fixed :)
