Had a dream last night that rachelmanija handed me her story for the PBR chapbook and it was 100 pages - which was good, as we have to have a minimum of 48 pages total - but that it was full of typoes and I was trying to collate it and do a page count (again, for some reason) while driving.

I don't think that dream actually needs any interpretation. Especially since I woke up at 7 AM after going to bed at 1 AM. I'll probably nap at some point this afternoon, but I'm going to get some art done first. XD

This isn't actually PBR2; it's something we're putting together to pacify the rabid fans slavering at our door until we can get PBR2 done. XD It's a small collection of short stories with illustrations.

And as a teaser, let's just say that in the course of looking for reference, Rachel and I have done a lot of surfing on leather fetish sites.

Aaaaaaaaa! I don't know how it will be 48 pages. My story isn't going to be all that long -- probably 6000 words.

It's a small book, and I will do the time-honored student cheat of fucking with the font size and margins until it fits. I DO NOT HAVE THREE DEGREES FOR NOTHING! :D

If I can get it to 200 words per page - we'll see if I can do that but it may be 250 - your story will be 30 pages long. Add in illustrations, title pages for each story, table of contents, acknowledgments, dedication page TO ALL OUR FANS, starting the first page of the story halfway down the page with a drop cap, bio pages for all contributors, and whatever random essays we can churn out, plus Oyce & Yoon and I am still intending to finish mine ... not a problem.

And I think I may make a small rose graphic to put at the top or bottom of each text page, to take up more space. XD
