Movies

Posting movies I'll want to see at some point here: since I fast-forward through all commercials now, I never see any trailers on TV and don't hear about movies until after they've left the theatres. :)

Hellboy 2 - I encountered Hellboy in the right order - seeing the movie first, and then reading the comics. Because that meant I wasn't disappointed at how bad the movie was when compared to the comics. XD But I'll be watching this, because I can keep the comic-Hellboy and the movie-Hellboy separate in my head.

Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanomo Bay - Probably Netflix it.

Wall-E - Looks good

Mongol - OH HELL YEAH. I'll have to keep an eye out, though, as it'll probably end up at the Angelika over in Dallas or something for a short run, so I'll have to work hard to catch it.

The Fall - Looks gorgeous.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Dude. It's Indiana Jones.

Would you consider the next "Mummy" movie? The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (http://www.robcohenthemummy.com/). It has my interest, even if Rachel Weiz opted to not reprise her role.

I'm a little :( at that (the RAchel Weiz thing). But I've always loved the serious camp that both of the previous movies had. Maybe this one'll pull through.

Of course, the Mummy Returns had a special treat. During the undead pigmy scenes--you could tell all the Diablo 2 players in the theatre when I watched it :3

Mmm, dunno. I enjoyed the first two, but they were both rentals for me, and I'm not really champing at the bit to see it in theatres. :)

Haha, I totally approve of your reason to see Indy :D

Reading the trivia about it, apparently Spielburg went to great lengths to film it as close to how the other three were filmed as possible, so they'd fit all together better. And Harrison ford worked to get fit enough (Can you believe that man's in his late 60's? D:) to do stuntwork again for it.

I'm /so excited/. That's the film I'm most looking forward to this year.

Is there any other reason to see it? XD

Nope!

I'm expecting an entertaining film. And Indy usually delivers~ <3

I know I want to see the new Indiana Jones movie with my boyfriend. The Fall looks really awesome, but I don't think I have any friends who'd want to see it :/
onthehill: yuri plisetsky gives a thumbs down (Edward Elric)

I saw 'Mongol' at a film festival a few weeks back. Its pure eye-candy - both the landscapes/costumes/sets and the men *slobbers off*.
And INDY!!!! YEAH!!!
