Doujinshi
I have spent the evening scanning in the front covers and 1 (sometimes 2) sample pages of about half of the doujinshi I bought in Japan because I'm probably going to sell most of them. You can go look through the directories if you want to see all of the images. Check the image file names for the circle name and doujinshi title, near as I could make it out. And they were all scanned in at 72 ppi, so no better scans exist. I also didn't want to break the spines, so the interior pages tend to be kind of wonky.
I'll just point out a few here.
The #1 find of the trip is the Zanzibar circle, which has some awesome artists.

Ryouko mube and Monme did a Bleach doujinshi that has a few short stories in it drawn by different artists. One of the artists is pretty good. The others aren't. However, when you have the good crack like Ichimaru playing grab-ass with Renji while Aizen watches through a telescope and Byakuya blowing snot-bubbles for some reason, you don't really need good art.
In the Death Note directory, I recommend looking at the files that begin with "Tirol" because they're really nice - two small doujinshi, each with a sweet little TOTALLY INEXPLICABLE story about Near being a small lost child rescued by Mello from a train station, then taken to a mall. Where L is giving out balloons. No, I don't know, either.
I also recommend Dizzy Melon's Wammy's Angels because it's a parody of Charlie's Angels.
And then Balgus REC has Light cosplay as Howl from Howl's Moving Castle, Dizzy Melon has L doing karaoke.
More to come when I get a chance to scan more.

The "whatever the hell this is named" one looks curiously like the BoI mangaka doing Bleach - which is not necessarily a bad thing!
I wonder if Aizen enjoys his telescopic view as much as Gin enjoys his hands-on approach ... .

I just noticed I had the URL wrong on one of the links in the Gin-grabass paragraph - the one where I said one of the artists was pretty good should have gone here (http://www.magatsu.net/doujinshi/bleach/RyoukoMube-Monme-Viva-Soul-Society-003.jpg).

It is pretty good, although the artist seems to like some characters better than others ... I don't really care for his/her Yumichika, f'rinstance. And speaking of that, what is happening to poor Yumichika in that scene? >ouch!<

BTW, is this Black&White Doujin still for sale?
