I've got this scratching-post thingy for the cat that has a pouf of feathers attched to it. Well, had. It came off somehow, so I tied it to one of those ubiquitous strings lying around that the cat loves to play with. Oh. My. God.





Best. Toy. EVAR.

Mostly because ... it's got FEATHERS! And a STRING! And FEATHERS! And a STRING! And ... and... and... FEATHERS! Oh, wait, there's a STRING! She's so happy she doesn't know *what* to go for.

And now she's wandering around squalling because I opened the window so she can sit on the sill and look out through the screen, but I won't let her outside.

Holding my camera down on her as I dangled a string. Them's my feet. :) I actually flipped the photo 180 degrees from the "proper" orientation, because it looks better that way. She's getting better at realizing that the camera in front of her means a big flash into her eyes soon and doesn't look at it much. XD

I've got a lot of kittyspam on my LJ just because every time I make some joke about being the sort of sad person who posts a lot of cat pictures in her LJ, I get 47 kajillion (well, ok, three) messages saying "MORE KITTYSPAM PLZ KTHNX!"

XD My mom bought me the socks - they're some sort of special athletic sock that grips you around the middle of your foot, and are really soft and fluffy. And I wash them with fabric softener, so when I wiggle my toes ... whee!

I am all about the soft luxuries like that.
