And now the samples

Various samples from the Art Prompts Generator.

Create a portrait of someone who is not a girl disguised as a boy. Use an Old Masters style.

Using complementary colors, create a picture of a shapechanger in a landscape lost in mist. Theme: the owl from the steeple sing.

Create a portrait of a librarian in a formal pose. Elements of the picture should include a familiar, body modifications, or prominent hipbones.

I have to say I really like this next sentence structure, because it's just silly.
Show a cold-eyed assassin and candy. The piece should not contain any sort of a sailor fuku.

Show an angel and a field of roses. The piece should not contain any sort of a bustle.

Show a damaged warrior and hands combing through hair. The piece should not contain any sort of wings.

Show a beefy yet intelligent man and a multitude of hidden weapons on the body. The piece should not contain any sort of characters who stand close enough to kiss without ever touching.

This is also a good sentence structure. XD
Create a portrait of someone who is not a sociopath. Use grey colors.

Create a portrait of someone who is not a psychic. Use violet colors.

Create a portrait of someone who is not a mermaid. Use secondary colors.

It includes a werewolf and a bustle. Use canvas or paper half the size that you usually do.

Portray a sense of pessimism with a corset and gryphons.

Create three pictures on the theme of caged bird. The first should depict discontent, the second angst, and the third joy.

Maybe I'll put more media in here. I sort of like the idea that someone might run out and slap plaster on a wall to paint. :D
This picture is in fresco and features a sense of sickness. Incorporate a cozy sweater.

And then we have the usual grammar issues producing hilarious results:
Show a man disguised as a courtesan and a domesticated animal. The piece should not contain any sort of abuse of power.

Show a man disguised as a courtesan and silk scarves. The piece should not contain any sort of cool weapons.

Draw a boy who cries in several different art styles (for example: an arabesque, a magic realist, and a Gothic style.)

And the occasional real challenge - 'sleepiness' with red colors might be quite difficult.
Try to evoke the quality of sleepiness using only red colors. Theme: butterfly kisses.

This is a picture of a priest in neon-lit streets, with a theme of where the shadow falls the deepest.

Theme: life. It should contain a leather jacket or a cloak, and use primarily complementary colors.

Have stolen some prompts. Brain now in visual mode. Will let you know if I make anything pretty.

Sweeeet!

There's one prompt I liked a lot that I didn't put up there because it's MINE ALL MINE. Not that I have the skill necessary to pull off the thing in my head, but at least it's in there, which is a start.

This is a picture of an assassin in the ocean, with a theme of book.

...wait, "book" is a theme?

I'm using "theme" as a synonym for "prompt" just to break up the language a bit, so it's not all identical every time.

I see. That makes more sense.

I do think the generator is neat though :) I'll definitely use it to spark some ideas.

Playing with the generator myself:

Create a piece to express schadenfreude using only black and white (no shading, no colour). Theme: but when my summer days are gone.

I was actually surprised to see schadenfreude in there!!
THough how one actually portrays this in a picture is really hard to say as there is no English word for it.

Here is to trying in the future.

I hang out on fandom_wank. Schadenfreude is second nature to me. XD

I thought I'd try my hand.

Show a cold-eyed assassin and candy

I envision a nerdy looking guy with glasses (the kind that hide the eyes with reflection) sucking on a candy cane (set in December for good measure). While passing his target on the street, he trips and falls into his entourage in such as way that he rolls off and into his target. He stumbles off muttering apologies and disappears in the crowd, chased by the cursing of the body guard. Only then do they notice their charge sinking to his knees, with a candy cane stuck in his heart several inches deep (Lord only knows how our assassin deep-throated that thing). The reflection on the glasses ceases briefly to reveal a set of hard eyes, already thinking through the next hit.

Or Aya from Weiss Kreuz delivering candy and a bouquet when he's in a worse mood than usual. XD

Actually I think you could do sleepiness and red colors, with the theme of butterfly kisses without too much difficulty. I just imagine a warm afternoon, a poppy field and butterflies. With of course, someone dozing. Which I know realize sounds a lot like that scene from the Wizard of Oz.
