Questions...

I'm going to need to come up with a cover for Spindrift and I have no ideas whatsoever. The only thing I know I'd like to do is to keep the horizontal element with the title in it, like I had on the Project Blue Rose cover (that's a picture of the very first proof copy last year, where I had the blurb on teh back misplaced). (ETA: Better picture.)

I still also want ideas for art for A-Kon! Pleeeease! :)

Spindrift cover:

I think it begs for the guys in an ambiguous pose, that could be wrestling or could be a passionate hug. (Standing, not lying down.) Snow drifting down, plus the title design, would tie it in to being in the same line as PBR without making it look like the two books are clones.

A-Kon art:

Time-skipped Naruto characters-- i think that would be really popular. What about timeskipped Naruto eating ramen with Iruka? Or Naruto and Sakura at a table set for three, with the conspicuously and tragically empty chair?

Cover: The two guys after a fight (Black eye!!) sort of exhaustedly flooped on each other, half nekkid in the snow, with satisfied smiles.

I really liked the cover of PBR, so I think something similar would be nice. I can't think of anything specific, but I believe quite a few of the Clamp covers feature duos in appropriately actiony poses.

...I was actually thinking about the Spindrift cover on the way home last night. SHUT UP I DON'T KNOW WHY. I had thought about something with a couple of images-- maybe even three panels making something of a narrative--- but I don't know if it would actually work.

Or a horizontal image with a kick-- with one person's face in one half of the cover and the other face in the other half, with the foot being on the cover.
