More pictures of Luigi the squirrel!
Under the cut, plz to be finding a picture from yesterday, a picture from this morning, and several from just a few minutes ago.
I took this one last night after I transferred yesterday's photos from my camera to the computer. It's Luigi, rootling around in the grass, pretending not to be keeping an eye on Nunzio the dead half-squirrel.

This is the infamous shot of Luigi's belly I took this morning. It's rather bad due to trying to shoot through the blinds while holding them open and getting the camera to focus - it won't focus unless it's at least 4 feet away from the subject. But it makes the picture look nicely ominous.

A few minutes ago, after I opened the window for the cat, I was sitting here reading email and heard noises over at the window. I turned, saw Luigi on the screen and the cat veeeeery interested, grabbed the camera, and shot. Luigi immediately hopped off the screen.

Although, judging by a close examination, the squirrel may not be a Luigi after all, but, perhaps, a Mrs. Luigi.
(Mrs?) Luigi ran up the nearby scraggly tree and stared at us for a while.

And a shot between the cat's ears. The cat, naturally, stopped looking at Luigi and started looking at the dead half-Nunzio in the grass, otherwise it would have been a slightly better shot.

Alas, the saga of Luigi the squirrel may soon be ending, as I decided that I didn't really want Luigi to rip up my screen and phoned the office, asking them to remove the remains of Nunzio the dead half-squirrel. The cat would drive me crazy if I couldn't open the window after the squirrel ripped the screen off.
