Last day! Wrote some more on medical history - did history of surgery and history of hospitals. Will need for Fran & Dan to slot in the local stuff. Wrote a section on the English Sweat, which had its fifth and final outbreak start in Shrewsbury in 1551. Nobody knowsa what ity is - it stopped at the Welsh and Scottish borders and didn't affect the Continent except in the 1528 outbreak. It was first seen in the soldiers after the battle of Bosworth Field. In the 1551 outbreak, 960 people died in Shrewsbury within a few days.
I also typed all the possible sources I'd gleaned from the catalog - no subject search, you had to guess at possible words in titles - because they wouldn't be able to read my handwriting, and left notes on what I'd done and what still needed t be done.
And finally mailed the goals and objectives to Sam. I may have to get James to mail something to her to prove I didn't make this whole thing up.
