Today's fat content: OFF THE CHART!! Really: the little bar that CalorieKing fills up as you eat grams of fat is completely full and bright, shrieking red. Muahahahahahaaaa! But it's the first time in four days I managed to hit my calorie target, in fact managed to go over by a little bit, so I am not complaining. One of my future goals is to reduce the amount of fat in my diet, but I'm not going to worry to much about that yet, as I have no immediate health concern, because I think it would just be too much to add at this point (I'm having a hard time just trying to get a weights workout in more than once a week as is).
Tomorrow's lunch is looking much healthier, though:
(x) 1.94 oz of Oroweat: Breads: 100% Whole Wheat
(x) 0.21 oz of Best Foods: Spreads: Dijonnaise
(x) 0.39 oz of Cheese: Cheddar
(x) 0.78 oz of Wegmans: Deli & Luncheon Meats: Ham Off Bone, Brown Sugar
(x) 0.32 oz of Vegetables, Fresh: Lettuce, Iceberg, raw, edible portion
(x) 2.4 oz of Vegetables, Fresh: Tomato, ripe, raw, edible portion
(x) 1.48 oz of Fruits, Fresh: Clementines, raw, edible portion
(x) 2.12 oz of Vegetables, Fresh: Carrots, raw, edible portion
(x) 1 package of Doritos: Tortilla Chips: Nacho Cheese, 100 Calorie Mini Bites
Meal Total 380 12.3g 3.6g 16.1g 56.1g 17g 8.2g 227mg
(calories, fat, saturated fat, protein, carbs, sugar, fiber, calcium)
The sandwiches are insanely detailed on the weight because I cut shapes out of bread using the ice cream molds - I have a STAR and a SQUIRCLE sandwich - and piled the various things on as they were on the food scale. And my TEENY amount of lettuce has all of ONE calorie. It's there mostly to add a bit of crunch. I couldn't put any more on or I wouldn't have been able to close the lid of the box and god forbid I reduce the amount of ham and cheese! There's cherry tomatoes tucked around the sandwiches to keep them from falling over, and the second tier is carrot chips and a clementine. And the Doritos are thrown in because otherwise it's way too damn healthy.
I'll still get hungry right about my usual 3 PM crash, but with any luck the bistro will have a bag of Stacy's Pita Chips in Sea Salt because I have an ADDICTION.
It's currently all crammed, except for the Doritos, into my NEEEEW sakura bento box, from a set I bought off eBay, which looks like this, except that the bags are beige instead of white:

If you want to see what-all came with the set, you can go over to this auction, which contains the exact same items.
My biggest problem now is that I have all these little sauce/dip type containers ... and I don't really eat sauces and dips. Suggestions for their use gladly taken.
Anyway, NO PHOTOS of my lunch because I am lazy. SO THERE.
And I have a new scanner! But not a working ew scanner, because I have to pop off my computer's cover and install the SCSI card before I can hook it up, and I decided I'd already had too much excitement for one evening. You would not believe the number of pacing peanuts* I have all over my floor at the moment.
* My family always called them "bookworms."

I was looking at a set like that as well. However I don't use sauce/dips either (shock!) so I guess it would be a little silly for me to have all of the extras.

The things I eat sauces with, like french fries, you can't really heat up in a microwave, which is all we have at work.
* My family's term for Generic Pasta made with Jar o'Sauce, whatever pasta shapes are in the pantry, and a pound of ground beef cooked, drained, and stirred into the sauce.

As for little sauce guys....I like to dip my steamed veggies in salad dressing (Annie's shitake mushroom, or ranch). Also, tiny pieces of extra dark chocolate, dark chocolate covered blueberries/cherries/almonds, crushed peanuts for topping noodley things, feta cheese to toss on salad, hmmm, that's mostly what goes in mine.

I realized on the way in to work that I could use one of the containers for putting some Lact-Aid in on the days when I pack a lunch with dairy, so I wouldn't have to remember to bring the bottle in my bag up to the break room.
