Breaking out into "Springtime for Hitler" would be a tad embarrassing, to say the least.

I have come so close to doing that several times in my life. That song is just too damn catchy and singable.

It's still in my head. :)

Wait, did Tom Lehrer write that? Or cover it? That's who I associate that song with. (Maybe it's just filed next to "Poisoning Pigeons" in my head, or something.)

He'd be entirely likely to cover it, I think, but I don't know. I think Mel Brooks wrote it.

I love that song XD

Also, that poll is brilliant. I always said I'd do Esmerelda in a heartbeat if I was a lesbian.

It's all good, baby!

I have actually broken out into 'Springtime for Hitler' at random intervals. In fact, my brother and I started singing it this past weekend...

I SO need to get my hands on a copy of the John Barrowman version.

i luff that song!

maybe its just because i come from the most accepting-of-weirdness city* around, but here people don't tend to look at you if you sing/hum spring time for hitlar. but then again, they can't do much befor that thrid venti mocha fapp. *sigh*

*and by this, i mean seattle. >.> and no, it doesn't rain all the time. geez.

It doesn't? Damn. ::scratches it off the "places I want to live" list::

Li Shang pwns the rest of that list.

I love that Ritsu icon. It always makes me laugh.

[identity profile] homasse.livejournal.com 2007-02-22 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Li Shang. Dude, does that even have to be asked? That boy was pure, animated HAWT right there.

[identity profile] readsalot.livejournal.com 2007-02-22 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
So glad I'm not alone in loving Li Shang. It kind of weirded me out when I realized that Donny Osmond was his singing voice, though.

[identity profile] homasse.livejournal.com 2007-02-22 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh, well, in the Cantonese and Mandarin versions, it's Jackie Chan. That help (or make things worse)?

And definitely, not alone in the Li Shang love. When in the movie, Mulan went, "...oooh," when he took off his shirt, I was right there with her.

It helps. I got the DVD edition when it came out here, and they included a music video of Jackie Chan singing "I'll Make a Man Out of You". I was very impressed with his singing.
