Well, my bud

bpggle just updated his journal for the very first time, with five Things He Has Done But You Probably haven't, which involved rabid cats and octopodes, though most like not at the same time.

And I've now got twenty minues to make a program work before I have to haul ass to the airport and pick up the two ConDFW guests that I'm guest hosting, and then it's off to the con!

I'll probably be online there from time to time - the hotel was remodeled in an attepmt to get the business crowd in right beofre the recent recession, so it's got wireless access and a couple of computers available, and since I splurged the extra ten bucks a night for the concierge floor, I've got access to the business center up there. So I'll be around-ish. Ta.

selenite recovers from tonight's emergency dental visit, and how quickly we can get the house cleaned up, in preparation for the babysitter Saturday. Dunno how late Friday we'll stay, since we'll have the kids for that time. But we'll wave if we see you.

OK, see you there! ApolloCon just emailed me and said they were planning on throwing room parties Friday *and* Saturday night, so you can mark that down in your con event calendar. :)

Rabid cats and octopodes were involved in two distinctly separate events on different continents, for which I shall be eternally thankful. Eventually I'll get around to posting descriptions of the events in my journal, should anyone be interested.

Wish I could join you at the con, but this weekend involves much worship of The Big Red Cat as his next dose of chemo comes soon, so I'm spoiling him shamelessly with treats and catnip and lots of head-scratching.
