Bike

4.8 miles in 24 min today.
15.1 total - have reached Stock Road and an about to start singing.

Went 24 min today as that was the length of Whose Line Is It Anyway? without the commercials on the TiVo. :D And deliberately tried to go faster for the entire time. My legs are a wee bit wobbly and twitchy, yes. I shall probably soon start putting tension on the bike (yes, I've been wimpy and doing it without so far), at which point expect my mileage to crash. :)

The TiVo is what makes this possible - I can watch any of a number of shows and skip the commercials, which is where I usually get bored. unless it's the Strattera

Are you doing warm-ups and cool-downs? I'm told that's actually pretty important, e.g. because otherwise the change in blood pressure can cause fainting. Or something like that.

I like skipping commercials in today's TV shows. But one of the fun things about watching old VHS tapes of old TV shows is to see the old commercials. I wish DVDs for TV shows actually included commercials from back then. (I don't know how that would actually work, since each station presumably had some of its own local commercials. Maybe only national commercials would be included.)

Well, yes, the biking starts out slow and ends up slow, to ease my heart rate up and down. However, I know from hard experience that what I consider a workout, most fitness professionals consider a warmup. (They never learn to account for people who are way out of shape, and push us way too far, which ends up making us not come back.)
