The Mammoth Book of Best New Manga
This is a manga anthology of new Western artists, edited by Ilya, and just published (I think. At least I haven't seen any mentions of it elsewhere on the intarwebs). It's associated with the International Manga and Anime Festival in London - the lead story won the 2005 prize - and has artists from a number of countries, using a number of styles, with a number of subject and approaches, and ranging from 1 to 60+ pages in length. :)
500 pages, $13.95, and worth it for the first story alone, by Michiru Morikawa. I haven't read any others yet, but I urge you to run out and buy a copy now, just for that first story, which is charming and silly and thought-provoking and surreal and completely free of dialogue. The anthology as a whole seems to be all-ages appropriate.
P.S. Please post and remind me to eat, huh?

Here are some lovely pictures of cookies (http://allrecipes.com/howto/2006-christmas-cookie-countdown/detail.aspx) (with recipes). Remember, they are only pictures, not actual food.

I need breakfast now .... cookies have eggs and flour and milk and good, wholesome things like that in them. Perfect! XD
