Found this via the
death_note: a collection of short 1-page Death Note doujinshi. "Coffee or Tea?" is great and oh-so-much in character. :)
Just got back from the library's Valentine's Day social-committe thing: a chocolate tasting. Seems one of the Circulation ladies has a Sekrit Other Life as a chocolate expert, and holds classes and everything on it. We got a short lecture on the history and facts of it, and then had six small cups of chocolate pieces marked A-F, and tasted them, marking up our responses on a small worksheet. Afterwards she passed out a key so we could see what we liked and didn't like. I was amused to find that my standard chocolate chips, Ghirardelli, was the one I liked the least. I liked the Scharffenberger Semi-Sweet Baking Bar the best, and shall have to track it down and buy one. It was all dark chocolate - milk chocolate ahs so much milk and sugar in it that you can't taste the actual chocolate.
And there were a few bonbon type things afterwards - I tried a chai tea truffle, forgetting of course that I dislike chai tea. It was like eating chocolate while standing in a health-food store. And then an orange truffle, which was far too rich to eat all of and would have been better at about half the size.
How on earth do they expect me to go back to work and concetrate on coding for only an hour more? Hmph.
