The problem with QI...

...is that after watching almost all of seasons 1-3, I have been utterly spoiled for Jonathan Creek. After watching Alan Davies amply fulfil the role he's hired for on QI (Dumb Guy Who Spouts the Obvious Yet Wrong Answers), I can't believe him as the eccentric-and-intelligent Jonathan Creek in the episode I downloaded the other day. And after I found some live torrents with the episodes I hadn't seen, too. Aarg.


(For those who have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, they're British TV shows: QI and Jonathan Creek.)

Jonathan Creek! I remember that show! I never got to see the end of it, but it was super-fun. Too bad about QI, though.

And I just found out last night as I was flipping through TV channels that the local PBS station is running Jonathan Creek on Friday nights. :D

To be fair, Davies isn't stupid, he's very quick, but he's not the fount of esoteric knowledge that Stephen Fry and many of the other guests are. Of course, he's paid to be the Guy with the Obvious Answer. XD But it's just not Jonathan Creek.
