I just spent an hour loading about four gigs' worth of audiobooks onto my iPod. I have a three hour drive in front of me today OH GOD DO I HAVE ENOUGH ENTERTAINMENT?

(Well, yeah, the iPod's coming on the ship with me, although I plan to spend the time reading paper books instead of audiobooks, because I can listen to audiobooks in the car and while doing art so I've been "reading" a lot more books that way this past couple of years than I have paper books. But audiobooks are absolutely necessary for long-distance driving.)

In all honesty, mostly legally. :D My mother listens lots of audiobooks too, and has purchased a great number of lectures from The Teaching Company (http://www.teach12.com) and has the sort of membership at Audible.com (http://www.audible.com) where you give them a widgs of money at once, and then can download 24 books, which avareages out to $10 each. Especially good when you have an addiction to $50 Terry Pratchett audiobooks. XD

Other than that, I've gotten a few others from friends sending them to me. :D
