I am attempting to telecommute today. And today is the day that some nimrod with a backhoe cuts a line and the entire campus is offline.

At least I'm at home and can get other stuff done, instead of being at work and sitting there with nothing to do. Except I've now got a headache, arg. I need a good :-/ icon.

ETA: Oh, and when I went out to the post office a bit earlier? I stabbed myself in the mouth with my keys. I have no idea how I managed to do that.

I was getting out of the car, carefully since the nimrod next to me had parked too close to the line, juggling bag and keys and packages to mail, and the next thing I know, STABBY PAIN OW.

You can't tell unless I point out to you the slightly redder portion of my lip, and there's a very slight scrape on my gum, but it all hurts out of proportion to the amount of damage. Not to mention the assault to my dignity. At least nobody was watching. XD

Heh....kinda like a cat scratch...I couldn't imagine being mauled by a mountain lion, given what a house cat's scratch feels like.

I had an asswipe like that at the bowling alley last week....there was barely enough room for me to turn sideways to fit between the truck and my car. I still haven't figured out how I actually got *in* the car...
