That's very handy - someone asked me only yesterday exactly why they should bother reading Saiyuki. Now I have the answer in one handy link. :)

(As opposed to saying 'lookit, lookit, Gojyo', which was Plan A. ^^)

Well, Gojyo is a very powerful argument. Mind you, for the occasional Philistine who just cannot understand the Lure of the Bishounen, mere logic is occasionally useful.

As far as I'm concerned, Saiyuki/Minekura-squeeing is a perfectly valid activity, and should be performed often. xD Great column; it definitely brightened my day.

Saiyuki-squeeing is ALWAYS a good thing.

And there is a reason why I nicknamed Saiyuki "Journey into Anachronism" when I first saw it waaaaay back when.
