I have spent my life assiduously avoiding the periodic table. I guessed that the photo was Maxwell: it was easy enough to eliminate the other people, so it was either Planck or Maxwell. I know both of them, just not their appearance.
Or it was maybe answers to other questions; I don't remember them now. XD
(I memorized a good portion of the periodic table in High school. I can vaguely remember where some elements are by row.) The magnesium vs. manganese thing is one I had to remind myself of time after time.
I put the online game/chat option down! That ought to count for something! (I figure reloading LJ obsessively as a way to avoid doing art was closer to that than any other option.)
Chemistry was the first class I got a C in. And I failed to raise my grade any higher than that all year, regularly bombing tests, much to my parents' dismay. Strangely the nuclear chemistry test was easy and I scored an A on it and had the weird feeling that I learned more from the test than I did from the unit. If only the rest of Chemistry had been like nuclear chemistry, I would have passed with flying colors.
Schools need more nuc-u-lar chemistry hands down! I failed Chem because my teacher, who was also a dance instructor and 6'5" in his tight, tight cowboy jeans, had such a fi-i-i-ine rear that would often pass by my aisle seat. It wasn't fair.
I think artists are supposed to be by nature cool. Hah.
My chem teacher was horrible, but it too me years to realize that I wasn't that bad at it myself, it was because she was a bad teacher. Her idea of lecturing was to write the entire lecture on cursive on overhead sheets, put them up, read them out loud, getting faster as the time got closer to the end of class, then yell at us when we asked her to slow down so we could write.
I've had teachers like that and always had similar results. I sometimes wonder what got them their jobs. They never really seemed to have much passion for what they were doing.
Wait, artists are cool? I am one of the cool kids!
I guessed I wasn't going to end up with a high score on this test. I was good at math and science, but I'm nerdy about language and the social sciences.
I'm with fourthage I dropped math and science as soon as possible and graduated highschool with 11 credits in English. Oddly I do remember some of the periodic table, just not what the test wanted to know!

How did I score higher than a librarian?!
There's no way this can be right!

Maybe I'm just an extremely good guesser.

I failed Chemistry, strangely enough.

Mello really hates her.

You may now worship me. I prefer ice cream to burnt offerings.
