BPAL package & review: Chaos Theory III DCCXXVIII
In addition to the mysterious package I mentioned in my last post, I also got my most recent BPAL order. Harvest Moon, Et Lux Fuit, and Chaos Theory III
Chaos Theory III: DCCXXVIII
BPAL description: From the LE - Chaos Theory III: Strange Attractors collection. Each bottle of Chaos Theory is truly unique, a fragrant fractal, and exercise in the joy of chance and uncertainty! Each is a one-of-a-kind, utterly random combination of scents, the composition of which is based on whim, mood and gut instinct. Most common allergens have been omitted from the experiment. No pennyroyal, no nuts, no cinnamon, no cassia. Regardless, if you have any sensitivities, please do not participate in Chaos Theory.
In vial: I can't describe it. No familiar notes at all. Not especially perfume-y. Sort of dark.
Wet: Hmm. Soft. Possible dragon's blood? There's also a sort of metallic tinge coming out. The warm thing … maybe a hint of vanilla?
Dry: Iron and vanilla? Hard to say. Maybe a hint of pepper?
Notes: The cat is not a fan - she sniffs it with interest, but does not lick. I am not a fan either. It's strange and indescribable and does not work on me.
After going back to the bottle and sniffing, I can sort of pick out the metallic and vanilla notes there. I think it's vanilla, rather than amber, because amber turns to a soft, wonderful vanilla on my skin and vanilla goes sort of icky on me. I'm not allergic to it, so no cedar, jasmine, or evergreen-type stuff in it.
Definite swap. I may imp it out and swap for imps instead of trying to trade the full bottle.
BPAL roundup
ETA: I'm swapping out some imps of both my Chaos Theories for other Chaos Theory imps over here. If you reeeeeeally want to try and have no Chaos Theory to swap, post here and we'll talk. :)
