How Texan am I?
You are 90% REAL Texan!!
High five, you're a complete Texan. People from other states should tremble in your presence because they're simply not worthy. Let them bow before you and convey their undying adoration to you while they announce their true desire to be Texan.
How Texan Are You?
What I really want to know is: which of those questions did

Unlike South Dakota. When I lived there for a year, working a contract job at a museum, my coworker and I periodically drove the 5 hours into Pierre, the state capitol, to meet with our bosses. When you travel the main highway through the state, a couple of hours in, there's a big billboard that reads:You'd really think that they'd put it on the border of the state so that the animal activists would know to go around, wouldn't you?
Anyway, one of my few regrets in life is that I never stopped to take a picture of that billboard. :D
I Went to Texas Once...
You're mostly texan. You know your Mexican food, state heritage and are probably slightly politically aware. You can probably pronounce Kukendall, Manchaca and Boerne correctly. Go you.

Being a Texasn isn't about knowing what Gruene Hall is, and it CERTAINLY isn't about knowing who Leslie Cochran is. It's about wearing boots, drinking beer, line dancing, reponsible gun ownership, and - from time to time - kicking some yankee ass. If you actually had the patience to complete this quiz, you probably aren't a Texan.

Is there some weird quantum singularity linking Sussex and Texas that I should be investigating?

IMNSHO, Austin is about the LEAST "Texan" part of the state. That's where all the lefty-hippie-wierdo-freaks hang out, after all.
