Interesting and amusing discussion over at Making Light of the meaning behind Bonnie Tyler's '80s music video to "Total Eclipse of the Heart."

What I have realized from the comments:

1) OMG yes it is a complete shoujo manga! And it's probably by Kaori Yuki.
2) I had forgotten that there were ninjas in the video.
3) Yeah. That's a were-pigeon, all right.

I'm actually a few volumes behind on the English release, which makes me a bad fan, but I also have the artbook, which I like to think cancels that out and brings me back up to base level.
