...I got Tokyopop's Return to Labyrinth at lunch today and I may be forced to spork it.
ETA: Here'a a Newsarama interview with Jake Forbes, the writer and developer of Return to Labyrinth. It's got a few sample pages.

* Maybe four. I'm not sure: I left it in the car so I wouldn't be tempted to read it instead of working on the website.

...Yeah.
I'll be writing something more in-depth later, but I think it was rushed, and I don't agree with some of the editorial choices - i.e., the artist, inker(s!), toners, etc would be fine on another project. (plus, I think Labyrinth, of all properties, shouldn't be shounen.)
But I have to finish the book before I can give it a fair go. :D

Not horrible but . . . TP seriously needs to hire some better inkers and toners. I've seen Chris Lie's art before and his pencils are better than that.

....the idea of a "Lost Girls" volume focused on Sarah and Labyrinth and Jareth is mind-melting. Moore and Gebbie probably won't do it, but oh I hope someone does.

Im not saying the artist is bad, it's just the wrong style in my opinion...
and I think it all looks horribly rushed. The ink, the toning... it's just a big disappointment for my high hopes.
