LOOK UPON MY LARGE-FORMAT PRINTER, YE BEEYATCHES, AND DESPAIR!!

And here's another picture of my cat, this time on my drawing table. Yes, she started out much closer to the top and has been slowly sliding down.

I drool at your freshly-printed picture and laugh at your cat.

You ought to have taken another pic when she fell...

Heh. Shortly after this, she realized that she was about to run out of table and got up. But it was funny while it lasted. :)

Aww, so cute! Except for the printer, the general state of your desk and the sleeping cat looks very similar to where I am right now. Working on the RSOM rewrites, by the way:

Jordan: Nowadays they’re called hax0rz. H-A-X-zero-R-Z.

Rivas: Are you old enough to drink yet?

Jordan: (thought bubble): I better not tell him about the time I went undercover at a high school.

Heehee. :) And I can see Jordan getting flustered by (a) cute young men surrounding him and (b) cute young females throwing themselves at him. :D Ah well, that's something to put in the back of the artbook as omake, hm? XD

The cat is happy I brought the printer home. Or, rather, she's happy I brought the box home. Another place to sit, and we all know how important it is to have good places to sit.

[livejournal.com profile] little_details is the funniest community ever:

"If you put a human body in a crate, how many people would it take to carry it?

...

What if the body were a clay statue? Could people carry that at all?"

XD It's great - I love reading the questions and thinking "What on earth are you writing about?" It's 99% fanfiction writers, from what I gather, and it's sort of interesting to try to guess what fandom they're writing in. Russian legends about spiders? Water symbolism in world literature? It's a reference librarian's dream community.

Yesyes, it's really fun and i've learned a ton just from reading some of the entries :p

That's what I call a printer of doom! It's also nice that other people don't keep their desks immaculately clean too :)

The cat picture is adorable and would probably be something my cat would do too, if I had a drawing table that is *can't afford one, has nowhere to put one, can't even set up my art board for lack of table space* :D

Yes, I have a horizontal filing system. :) I have grand plans in a couple of months to go to the IKEA store opening in town and get a bunch of tabletops and legs and mke a really nice studio area with LOTS of tabletop space. And get a couple of TV stands like the one I've got to go under the tables and store my big sketchbooks and paper flat.

That art table is a seriously el-cheapo one I got at the craft store, and it's not too steady. :)

My printer-envy is rapidly accelerating beyond manageable proportions...

The cat is so cute. And it's so funny when they do fall down from somewhere, shoots straight up and look around: What! Nobody saw that! That was totally intentional!

May I just say....luck bitch. XD

Honestly though, let me know how it works out. I need to get one (when I have money....ha ha ha) and I've not been terribly impressed with cost vs output on a lot of what I've come across.

Heh....sounds like mine cat.....he would and has slept in places that he'll slowly slide and eventually fall from.
