Hey, [livejournal.com profile] sub_divided! You know why I'm going to love doing a manga for this? NO ACTION! ALL TALKING AND THINKING! NO ACTION!

--signed, [livejournal.com profile] telophase, who has just finished roughing out a page-and-a-half action sequence that she's not very happy with.

Yeah, but the art book can be all smut, all the time.

Plus there's a nice hurt/comfort splash page coming up... oh, wait, that also requires you to draw a helicopter. (What's the visual signifier for "evil grin?")

Oh you think it does, huh? JUST YOU WAIT!!!

I ahve literally just finished the roughs for page 20. I ahve tos can them in, then write up my little play-by-play guide, and there's one major change which I think is for the better which I'll explain why I did, along with a couple of suggestions for redoing earlier bits.

And all that should take me 30-60 minutes tos can in and write up, and I hope you are sitting at your computer now just QUAKING IN FEAR

...QUAKING IN FEAR at what I have been doing.

Goddamn finger slipping and making it post.

Any time! I've always considered action a silly waste space, that could be better spent on emotional growth, anyway. (Wait, remind me: why do I read shonen manga again?)

For the hot guys?

I read your post on little_details and couldn't help you, but your username made me happy so I checked out your journal.

then your content made me happy, so I kept reading.

Then your cat made me happy, and past three happy's I feel stalkery if you don't know I'm poking around. So I'm letting you know I like your journal, and you have a cute cat.

That is all.

Heehee - I figure, if I minded people wandering through and reading posts, I'd friends-lock them. :) (I do occasionally friends-lock, but that's mostly when I'm posting my phone number or, since I've just recently learned my grandfather reads my LJ, probably if I feel the urge to discuss slash fiction in depth or something.)

[identity profile] melster.livejournal.com 2005-01-08 03:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha, I know the feeling. Most of my posts, important AND non, are public as i have friends who aren't on livejournal who read, but unfortunately that may change soon as my parents now know where my lj is...

You wouldn't mind if i added you to my flist, would you?

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-01-08 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Not in the least. :) And as I tell people, when someone adds me, I consider them carefully, weigh the pros and cons, think deeply, and then add them back indiscriminately. :) If my friends list ever gets to be too much to handle, I'll split it into categories. ("Real Life Friends" vs Non-RL," "Fandom vs Non-Fandom" or perhaps "Boring vs Non-Boring". :)

Ahhh, the complexities of drama in online form. Err, that is, livejournal. :p
