ETA: It seems to require complicated shapes to look at afterwards - find something like the spines of DVDs or books on a shelf, or miniblinds, or busy patterns on fabric.
I looked at my miniblinds after I stared at it, and they deformed in my vision like Cthulhu himself was ripping through a dimensional barrier right there. XD
It helped that the blinds were on the far side of the room and thus very small in my vision - the big vertical blinds next to me didn't show any deformation.
Ack. Now I feel seasick. Ooo. I almost didn't make it to the end of the clip, because my vision was going all dark and blurry. :P My bookshelf was warping itself by the time I looked away though, so success! Now I need to close my eyes for a while...*dies*
I got an afterimage of a rectangle of shifting colors enclosed in a white outline. Was that what was supposed to happen? It didn't exactly rock my world.
What were you looking at? I didn't get anything from my vertical blinds, but the DVDs right next to them deformed nicely, as did the edges of the miniblinds across the room and a patterned pillow. It seems to require complicated shapes to do anything other than leave afterimages.
Hmm. That panicked me by setting up what looked like the spots-before-the-eyes effect I usually only get immediately before a migraine attack. Had to stop watching after about ten seconds, so hopefully before the subliminal commands came on.

Well-done tentacles, though.

Probably not too good for your eyes, though. Better stick to pot.
