The ILL ladies just phoned me to let me know that a book I'd ordered had been sitting in the ILL office for some time and was now overdue. Once we established that they hadn't actually notified me of its existence, they offered to renew the loan for me, and so I trundled up there and picked it up. So. Can anyone explain to me why I requested Penguin By Design: A Cover Story 1935-2005? It certainly looks interesting, and I'm always up for reading books on design, but I have no actual memory of requesting it.
OTOH, when looking it up on Amazon.com, Amazon suggested that I might like Image Factory: Fads and Fashions in Japan, so I think I may ILL that one. The one bad review on the front page, where someone picked it up for a fun read and was dismayed to find it a more scholarly tome than anticipated, has only made me want to read it more.
And I must make a note to order Moomin: The Complete Tove Jansson Comic Strip - Book One, due to be published in October! Moomins! Moomins!

(yeah, that's about how it parsed, honestly, until I realized it was an acronym for Inter-library Loan...hah.)
