Since I plan on going anyway I signed up. I am pretty sure they won:t want me to win since I`d be pitching story ideas to every editor I see.

It seems funny to me that all you have to do is sign up. Are they building a database of people that are willing to sign up for a contest?

They might just be gathering snail-mail addresses. Or it's publicity for them, although I can't really think of people who'd sign up for it who weren't already aware of Dark Horse and its products. :D
