BPAL

The Lab is breaking with the usual tradition of having this month's Lunacy available for just 24 hours, and Dragon Moon is up now through the 20th (due to Convergence, most likely). I gotta say I'm tempted ... even though dragon's blood doesn't work on me, every single other component does. *sigh*

There's a number of other interesting scents up as well this month, and I've got a Paypal balance burning a hole in my pocket. Good thing I sold those Maelstrom decants, huh? XD

ETA: If you missed the Carnaval Noir LE scents last year, they're back for a limited time, until the 20th.

Possible

Dragon Moon - The Dragon Moon celebrates the glory and vigor of Springtime: dragon’s blood resin, tea leaf, bamboo reed, sandalwood and cherry blossom.

More than possible

SNAKE CHARMER -- Sensual, sibilant, sexual and hypnotic: Arabian musk and exotic spices slinking through Egyptian amber, enticing vanilla, and a serpentine blend of black plum, labdanum, ambrette, benzoin and black coconut. (The reviews say lots of amber, which works really well on me. I'm iffy about the musk, though.)

GYPSY QUEEN -- A heavy-lidded perfume, the quintessence of beauty and power shrouded in mystery, swathed in a deep, velvet-clad cloak of dark omens: Romany incense and candle smoke mingling with an alluring, body-warmed whiff of bergamot, neroli, Bulgar rose, carnation, and amber musk. (Neroli is bitter, I'm not sure about the amber musk)

Probable

BAOBHAN SITH -- The ghostly White Women of the Scottish highlands. They seduce unwary travelers by night with their unearthly beauty and mesmerizing dancing. They engage their victims in a wild, hypnotic dance, and once they reach exhaustion, exsanguinate their partners with their vampiric kiss. Grapefruit, white tea, apple blossom and ginger. (I haven't tried a graprefruit scent yet. This looks light and lemony - ginger goes to lemon on me, and apple blossom works on me. But it's a General Catalog scent, so I could get an imp pack with it, which kicks it to Probable from Possible.)

HYMN TO PROSERPINE -- Thou hast conquered, O pale Galilean; the world has grown grey from thy breath; We have drunken of things Lethean, and fed on the fullness of death. The darkening amber of faith’s sunset, deepened by the dark fruits of Proserpine. (Amber! The only question is: splurge on a bottle unsniffed, or be smart and get an imp first?)

MOUSE'S LONG AND SAD TALE -- Vanilla, two ambers, sweet pea and white sandalwood. (Amber! Same question as Hymn to Proserpine.)

THE POOL OF TEARS -- A sea of salty tears drowning out Alice's light floral perfume. (Imp, for sure.)

TWEEDLEDEE -- Ridiculous! Kumquat, white pepper, white tea and orange blossom. (Imp, for sure)

No, it's meant to be empty - I decanted all of the stuff, and then randomly threw in two of the empty bottles for each person, because it's not like *I* was going to do anything with them. :D So you should have an imp each of Usher and Fortunato in the packets. :D

Aha! I vaguely remember you saying something like that before, too. Small brain.

They are cool bottles and will doubtless be good for something.
