Is there *anyone* on my friends list who *isn't* having a bad week of some sort?

pzb, the Check is In the Mail, so to speak. But it went out in campus mail, which sits in an open box in the loading-dock area for a while, so I'm semi-nervous about it making it out [the area is usually closed off with card-access only, but it still makes me nervous] - let me know if nothing arrives in a few days.)

On the bright side, UPS is claiming that my Amazon.com order is out for delivery today, so I must remember to leave work at 5 and no later so I can go by the apartment office and pick it up. Whee!

Actually, I'm having a pretty good week.

It's not perfect. The household is still recovering from illness, the backyard is flooding and it continues to rain, and my mother just had to have her cat put to sleep.

But overall it's been good and I've been feeling pretty positive about life. Sending hopes of the same to you!

That's good - my Monday was bad (migraine, insurance), and Tuesday wasn't too bad except for generic frustration at a committee meeting and the continued non-deliverance of a package from Amazon I've been waiting for, and today's been OK except for more generic frustration at the database I'm trying to work with. So hopefully it shall continue to get better. :)

Most of the people on my friends list who've been posting have all been having really bad weeks, from the sound of it, though. :)

I'd call my week difficult, but it hasn't escalated to bad just yet. Well, we do have another 2.5 days for that to happen.

Heh. Mine seems to ahve started bad and is gettign slowly better. I shall, however, consider today a triumph if I can figure out how to implement temporary tables in my database application, no matter what else happens.

My week kind of officially begins today....(since I haven't worked since last Wednesday...) So we'll see. :D I'm probably going to be doing signs in the freezer all day, and since my partner is probably only there until 2, about 6 hours of my day my suck. :D I'll keep you posted. :D

gah...and yes, I'll keep my eyes open for it. Hand onto the stub for the money order....if it doesn't get here, you should be able to get that refunded.... it's a huge pain in the ass, but it's better than losing the money all together (Had to do it with our wedding photographer because for whatever reason, the check showed up two days before the wedding...it took two weeks to go 20 miles....)

Yup, I've got the stub and I'll make sure not to lose it. :) My new apartment doesn't have an outgoing mail slot, and after a friend's apartment complex outgoing-mail was regularly plundered for checks and cash in envelopes by person or persons unknown, I wouldn't use it anyway. I just haven't found where the closest accessible mailbox is - my old apartment was a block from the post office, so I got spoiled.

I'm having a good week! Well, not really exciting or great....but not bad. I'm having a mediocre week, yay!! :)

I'm fully enjoying my week, and that's saying something, as I've been having a rough life of late : p

Of course, it's all relative.

I'm happy for you ... yesterday started sucking even worse for me after I got home when I found Amazon.com sent an order to my old address and not my new one.

I shall be phoning the apartment complex once they open in the vague hope that it was delivered to the complex and not whoever's in my new apartment. Arg.
