The *real* answer to my previous question is "Because I have this #%#%@#$(*@ migraine." As a result of which, I've got an appointment at my new doctor this afternoon, and since I NOW HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE my appt. and any assorted drugs that show up should now be affordable! (Ah, drugs. I'd be happy with Relpax, which the last doc gave me a handful of samples for although I'm down to my last one and am hoarding it for one of those sick-to-my-stomach ones, but it takes 2 hours to kick in, and if I can find something that works faster, I'd be all over it.)

I also have sleep deprivation since I didn't fall asleep until after midnight and my headache woke me up at 5:30 AM. Woe is me. *whine*

Did you know that the blood of a cardinal is a sure-fire cure for headaches? It's true! I read it in a book once. Although, it was a book bound in leather made from human skin, so they may have been referrign to a high-ranking Catholic rather than a type of bird.... Still, it never hurts to try, yes?

Do you know whe we need to blame for your migraine? Itzacon. That's, right. I woke up with a pounding headache and I blamed my allergies but now I'm blaming Itzacon.

I'm feeling somewhat better - I'm about to update the journal with the Great Insurance Saga. It's probably Itzacon, anyway. I woke up Sunday morning with a midl ehadache that mostly subsided durng the day but the isntant I started driving home it hit me hard. Got somewhat better after I ate, but this morning at 5:30 was back with friends. Almsot compltelely gone now due to the miracle of modern pharmacology.
