inking warmup

I'd forgotten for a long time that if I inked over a page that some mangaka had drawn, it tended to prime the pump and help me a wee bit in my own inking. So I just did a bit of inking over two panels on a Saiyuki page.





Let's hope this still works.

I've sometimes typed out pages from other people's books to try to learn how their style works.

It did good until my wrist started threatening to give out and I got really really bad. :) I'm one panel short of the next page; will do tomorrow.
