For you guys in the BPAL decant circle, the order has been sent in and my Paypal account, which was so fat there for a moment, is now so flat!

Wheeeee! I'll let you know when the Click-n-Ship notification arrives, and then when the package arrives. :D The Lab has been rocketing them out faster than ever recently, so if that holds and this month's lunar update doesn't break them, the CnS should shouw up in about 2-3 weeks. So much nicer than the former 6-8 weeks!

AND I even got smart and just placed an order for the extra vials and pipettes I'm gonna need to decant them all! Woo! (I think you guys would kill me if I'd forogtten to do that and we had to wait an extra couple of weeks. XD)

Of course, I realized this afternoon that there is a fatal flaw in my 'try BPAL' plan. You see, I have a terrible sense of smell, so bad that I've been in burning buildings and not realized it. One of the things I tend to have trouble with are perfumes. I can smell that there is something in the air, but not identify the scent or any of its components.

I'm expecting that I'll be able to smell the oils in their bottles, but I'm not at all sure if I'll be able to tell what it smells like once it's on me which, as I understand it, is half the attraction of BPAL.

Yeah...sometimes I'm not so bright. I expect this to be fun anyway, though.

It's worth a try. XD Or you can see if there's some you *do* smell and others you don't and see what ingredients they have in common. Or there's using them as room scents on these rings they put on light bulbs or in other contraptions. :D Or just carry around the imp and sniff it randomly. XD

It's been a while since I ordered anything from BPAL, but at the beginning of the month, I ordered some ritual oils from TAL and they CnSed yesterday! I was in shock!

I vicariously thrill in you daring people's joy. I don't let myself order LE's because I'm scared of getting obsessed with something that's going to disappear forever (I shall never break the chains of samsara and attain enlightenment), but I still waited until the update went live to order the six imps and single GC 5ml I'd been wanting...

While I love BPAL, I don't wear enough of it at once to run out of any bottle in less than, say, a decade. XD Especially since I've got like eight bottles and a huge wad o'imps.

I keep feeling I should order more Brisingamen and Versailles, but I've been wearing them off and on for three months now and still have more than half a bottle of each - and I bought them both used. XD

I wish I could do that, but apparently I'm just one of those addictive types - I've gotten obsessed with Cathode and want to wear it every single day forever. (Hence, I just ordered a bottle of it.) I don't use a lot at a time, but still. If that happened with an LE, I *would* end up wasting absurd amounts of money getting more off eBay. Or else just do the pining-away thing.

Heaven help me if bad guys ever slip illegal drugs into my chocolate milk like on TV.

man i am SO looking forward to this. i've been wanting to try out BPAL's stuff, but i'm so wierd about buying scents for myself; I never want to spend the money blind because i'm afraid i'll hate it when it arrives.

:D The first order I did was nerve-wracking. But by now I've developed an idea of teh sort of thing that works well on me and the sort of thing that doens't, so I'm not quite so blind. :)
