BPAL - decant circle

Going by my previous poll, I've got six people besides myself interested in getting a full set of ten imps from the Descent into the Maelstrom decant circle I'm thinking of running. If I get two more people I can afford to order two full sets of the DitM and then offer the extra imps individually, since there should be about 1.5-2 imps/bottle left over.

ETA: One more! I just need one more person! Come on! You know you want to! It's closed! Unless someone decides they don't want to do it after all!



9 people @ $35/each is $315. Two sets plus shipping to me is $312.50, and I think the remaining imps at $3.50 each would cover up the costs of the imp vials, decanting supplies, and shipping out to everyone (especially since I know not all of them will sell. :D) (ETA: the cost breakdown is here. Shipping from the Lab to me is $12.50 for 1 or 2 sets. I figured I'd probably share out empty bottles and freebie imps equally to the set-buyers, although I have no idea what I'd do with the two Imps of the Perverse; probably pull names out of a hat to see who got 'em.)

About how early before going on sale do descriptions actually go up?

They go up when it goes on sale, actually. :D Which is theoretically midnight California time, but in practice is usually 2 or 3 AM California time. Last month the site crashed for several hours immediately thereafter, but the descriptions got posted to alchemylab and bpalanonymous shortly after they went live, so if it goes down for a while again, I'd suggest checking there.

And the BPAL site seems exceptionally prone to caching errors, so force reloads often when you're waiting for the update. :) bpal_excathedra usually has an announcement as soon as it goes live, but they don't post the description there.

Ahh, okay. Last time I thought you got the description a bit before you actually ordered it, I misunderstood.

A couple of months ago they had some problems and kept the order window open longer than 24 hours; that might be what you're thinking of. :D
