Arg, dammit. I fired up the DVD player for the first time since moving and discovered that the audio wasn't playing. I didn't *think* I ahd anything weird about the cables going on. And when messing about with the cables to see if I could get it to play through the cable box, now the video on my TV has lines through it when it was perfectly clean before. Arg!
