And some kittyspam to liven up a February Monday

In a pensive mood. Yes, I upped the green in her yes, but they were shaded green to start with here.

Coming to the realization that perhaps attacking the house-ape's pink fluffy slipper while she was wearing it was perhaps not the best idea all round.

I EET YOUR BRAIN!!

Have spork, will travel.

The spork really is one of her favorite toys. It vanishes for a while, then turns up again somewhere, and turned up recently. She sat there holding it as in the above picture for some time before finally deciding to gnaw on it.

Kitty with a spork = Super Cuteness of Doom!

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
XD She's discovered that if I scratch her with it, it feels really good.

[identity profile] cawingcrow.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
So which one of the spork shots gets submitted to Cute Overload? Or is there a "cats with utensils" page somewhere out there in the web universe (wouldn't surprise me one bit)?

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
The Spork of Doom....it's strange isn't it? We spend money on nice little toys, and they wind up loving the most obscure thing.....my devil quite enjoys a leather shoelace....

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
I think there's a page for everything out there...

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
Give her a piece of paper, a cardboard box, one of my shoes, and a spork, and she's happy as a clam. :D

Tangent

[identity profile] rachel-renee.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
Totally unrelated to the cuteness, but I've always wondered if clams are really as happy as they say.

KITTYSPORK!

*calms down slightly*

Er. Sorry. Cute cat. Cute spork. Cute combo.

Well, they certainly don't have the brains to be sad...

[identity profile] herchuckness.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Kitty! She looks as if she's ready to duel someone, holding her spork aloft like that.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
I CALL YOU OUT FOR YOUR INSULT! I WILL DUEL YOU WITH MY TRUSTY SPORK!

Sporkycat! Socute! Eee!

[identity profile] selenite.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
Mine play with the boxes, or scrap paper. The singing, popping elephant from Gramma is used as a stepstool to reach financial records that can be converted to scrap-paper-toys.

Kitty with a spork just cracks me up. Particularly since if that were my dog with a plastic spork, it would be shredded into little bits in five minutes if we didn't notice she had it.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds like my cat with receipts. Any small piece of paper that comes within her orbit is doomed.

Cyoot!

keep your spork!

Pony tail holders, dead bugs, the plastic rings on milk jugs, and my 10 lb. dumbbells.

The first thress I can understand. What I cannot understand is why he wants to chew on my exercise equipment. Sure, the rubber is green, but it is neither catnip nor rotten chicken-scented.

[personal profile] kate_nepveu 2006-02-14 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, she'll do that to. If we've unwisely left the bedroom door open, she likes to fish used Kleenex out of the trash cans there. At least she doesn't eat them, as far as we can tell.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 02:15 pm (UTC)(link)
There's something about rubber or rubbery coatings that makes my mom's cat want to chew. Telephone cords, headphone cords (thank God not power cords so far), rubber bands, and the back strap of my cheap Wal-Mart sporty sandals.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 02:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, my cat doesn't eat it, either, which is good. And every time I get annoyed at the little shreds of paper covering the floor, I remember that she could, instead, be shredding the furniture. Paper I can live with.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
My cat has a taste for anything really. Joysticks, cardboard boxes, chairs....if he can get his mouth around some part of it, he'll gnaw on it.

[identity profile] bpggle.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Cute!

Mine likes to play with a plastic stick that used to be part of another toy until she ripped it apart and ate the other half. She'd probably eat the stick, too, if it were even remotely digestable.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
:D [livejournal.com profile] puppleball has to pop the tails off toy mice before she gives them to the cats, otherwise the cats chew them off and eat them.

Kitty With Spork!!

I have no idea why that's so adorable, really I don't. It just IS.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2006-02-14 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I think maybe it has a bit to do with the fact that a spork will never not be funny.

[identity profile] pzb.livejournal.com 2006-02-15 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, Gir has a thing for shoes too. After taking pictures of some of our costumes at a national forest last year, he freaking molested all of our shoes. Would not leave them alone.
