mystery solved: stag night at the pub. The proprietess says thjere was a line of police on our side becuase earlkier thje group had been busting windows.
And the hotel is supposed to be haunted. Don't know detai. A fake ivy fell off its pot in the breakfast room and the guy at the next tyable told his girlfriend it was hauted. I didn't hear any more detail. Oih well.
Ther's a ton of American cartoons but no British ones on TV. Lots oif Saturday morniong cxartoons, and Sunday as well.
Game show last night: guess how the magic trick was done.
Walked toi abbey today. Very nice but not awe-inspiring. Iknteresting modern sculpture of Christ made up of found wood,metal, and otrher thngs made intoi a decaying body in crucifix shape.
Sat oin the siude of the Severn for a whiule. Saw geese, ducks and a swan. Very hot today. News predicted 88 F. Wet shopping afterwards and bought shrit that will druive Christy insane for being not me. It's yellow, sporty and has a '76' oin it.
Dinner at a chaon Italian placwe called Ask. ok. olive Garden type food.
Mom said she did some reading and the McDonald's is in one of the most hiostoric buyuldings here - medieval originally. Doesn't look it. Must read about it.
