Another clip from wacky Japanese TV - this time they take a girl and put a stuffed seal on her head, and have her go in front of the big window into a tank at a polar bear exhibit, which scares the fool out of her.

But still ... polar bear!

You know, having a polar bear leap at me would have terrorized me too, no matter how much glass separated us.

There seems to be a genre of "people putting food or food-looking things on their heads and standing in front of animals" Japanese TV, because I also saw a clip where a girl band tied steaks to their heads and stood in a cage with a monitor lizard.

...no, I am not delirious.

I saw that one, too. I think it would disturb me more than the polar bear, because I know how well-constructed those tanks are. With the polar bear, I'd have adrenaline and a startle reflex going, making me giddy and jumpy, but I wouldn't be crying with fear. But a monitor lizard headed right for my face, with nothing between us ... *shudder*
