I've had enough of an influx of new people friending me that I figured I'd pop up another post saying hello to all of you and asking A/S/L who you are and why you're here other than my sparkling wit and adorable cat, of course.

I got obsessed with Saiyuki and started looking for people writing smart things about it. You might well have ended up as a source in a research paper last semester, had my Bad Teacher not finally decided that manga did not, in fact, fall within the purview of a course called "Asian Narrative Art." Be thankful for your narrow escape; I kinda suck at research papers.

Also, just now I work in a library and am spending too much on BPAL. Naturally you are an important voice in the community of attractively-scented librarians.
