You know, that's a really good idea. I can voice post on my blog. No one ever reads it, so I should call and post to my grocery list when I remember things to add on the go. Thanks!
In teh book Blue Highways, where he traveled around the U.S. using the small highways marked in blue on the map, Least Heat Moon conceived of the calendar rule for rating small cafes in rural and small-town areas - the better a cafe was, the more calendars it had on its walls. So if you walked in and it was a four-calendar cafe, you knew it was good. :) My dad loved to stop and try little roadside places and for years after we all read the book, we automatically counted calendars as we walked in ... and I'll be damned if the guideline didn't hold up.
So when I was driving to get food last night, I realized that I hadn't drawn any calendars on the walls of Heather's place and decided to remedy that. :D
