Laudanum

BPAL description: From the Sin & Salvation collection. The essence of the most debauched hunger encapsulated into a perfume. Desire beyond love, anguish beyond sanity. Nutmeg, sassafras, black poppy and myrrh. (Traditionally masculine)

In vial: Can smell the nutmeg and what I think is the sassafras - it's faintly reminiscent of a root beer-type drink.

Wet: Whoa - root beer.

Dry: The root beer fades and the myrrh comes out, with a touch of spice.

Notes: Cat: *sniffs* ""WTF?"" The myrrh is working well, but unfortunately it's just too faint to smell after 10 or so minutes. There's plenty of other perfumes that are stronger on me. Off to the swap pile!

:D I am appalling myself with the sheer amount of BPAL I've reviewed over the past few months. And with the recent orders that just came in ... I've got 34 more scents to try. *sigh*

XD Well, it's not affecting my work or my daily life, and I'm not going broke from it (thanks to swaps XD) so I think an intervention isn't quite called for.

When I get into hobbies, I hit them hard for a while, and then drop them entirely, usually. I might not care about any of this a year from now. XD
