BPAL review: Eris

Eris

BPAL description: From the Excolo collection. Goddess of Strife and Discord, constant companion and sometime consort to Ares. She is a fickle, chaotic Goddess of Bedlam whose greatest passion is the sowing of dissention and turmoil. A suitably disjointed scent, bursting with gleeful mayhem: wet fruits and sharp mimosa with Martial spices and a deceptive flash of floral. (Gender neutral)

In vial: Fruity, with … something.

Wet: The … something … is getting stronger.

Dry: Ah. The … something … is turning into a vaguely mothball smell, which reminds me of hanging around in the Wildlife & Fisheries department at A&M where the preserved skins were kept.

Notes: Cat on other side of room and I'm too lazy to get up and go over to her. Not that I think she'd have a good reaction to it. No, preserved mouse skins are not what I want to smell like, thankyouverymuch.

BPAL roundup

Hee hee! This one is mine now, along with the really yummy-smelling Snow Moon. Many thanks! It was a nice little surprise, although the "mothball" odor you mention kinda made me think "cat litter." :-) Fortunately, my nose is so out of whack because of my cold that this might (hopefully) change after a couple of days. I actually like your reviews, by the way, copious as they are, because I am overwhelmed by the BPAL catalog, but I like knowing what I'm supposed to be smelling.

So have you tried Envy, Tiger Lily and Machu Picchu yet? I don't remember seeing reviews for those, and I can swap you back imps from them if you're interested.

I tried Machu Picchu - let me see if I can find the review for it ... here we go (http://www.livejournal.com/users/telophase/228822.html). I haven't tried the other two. :)

At least this one is working somewhat better for you than me. XD And it looks like Snow Moon may be, too. I haven't formally reviewed it, but it seems to be ... eh. :)
