Yep, that "they're only 14 years old" statement is always the pisser. A good friend of mine is a regular at Dallas cons, and nothing drives him crazier than discovering that the girl literally rubbing herself all over him is "almost 15". (In my case, it's worse: there's nothing quite so strange as realizing that you have groupies young enough to be my children.)
I'm just hitting the age where the younger fangirls *are* young enough to be my daughters, which is weirding me out. I want to yell at them to put some clothes on. My male friends tell me they repeat the "Jailbait. Jailbait." mantra in their heads.
Actually, I and two friends in my MLIS program last fall one day wandered around the UNT campus and yelled "PULL YOUR PANTS UP!!" at many girls with really low-rise pants. We agreed it felt very liberating.
