BPAL review: Brimstone

Brimstone

BPAL description: From the Bewitching Brews collection. In Hermetic alchemy, brimstone is one of the Three Heavenly Substances, one of the primary alchemical Priciples. It represents the strength of will and the vigor of passion, and it is a symbol of the process of fermentation. A smoky, gritty blend, husky and gray. (Gender neutral)

In vial: A top note that's familiar and darkly herbal that I really don't like.

Wet: This is a decant and I'm totally not getting anything smokelike from it at all. I'm wondering if it got mislabeled? Ah - as it dries it gets more smoky.

Dry: Interesting. That top note comes back out. Ugh..

Notes: That top note isn't smoky at all to me, and it's /very/ strong. It goes away as a smokier scent comes out, then comes back. Not for me at all
