BPAL review: 13

I haven't posted any reviews in a very long time, but I've just worked out a formula in Excel so that all I have to do is cut-and-paste once instead of cutting and pasting the info from each cell in separately. So expect a lot of reviews from the past couple of months posted soon. :D

BPAL description: From the LE - available every Friday the 13th collection. In our paean to all the mysteries surrounding this enigmatic number, there are thirteen lucky and unlucky components, including white chocolate, tangerine, currant, mandarin, white tea and iris. (Gender neutral)

In vial: A light chocolate, almost a mint chocolate.

Wet: A fruity chocolate, but not overpowering. Subtle and complex.

Dry: Subtle fruity chocolate.

Notes: Cat mildly offended. It's nice, and if a bottle happens to drop into my lap I'd grab it, but I don’t' think I'm going to be haunting the community and forums for it just yet.

It seems to be the common assumption right now that this will return on January 13th (a Friday). I'm quite curious about it -- it sounds lke something I'd like, but I'm also learning my lesson about buying unsniffed bottles. Is the citrus really strong? Or the chocolate really bitter? Those are the things I've found that can ruin a blend for me.

It's been a while since I tried it, but as I recall it was pretty smooth and soft - nothing really stood out as strong or bitter.
