Decisions, decisions...

This month's lunar update from the BPAL folks is the Holiday Moon.


HOLIDAY MOON
Before my bed
There is bright-lit moonlight
So that it seems
Like frost on the ground:

Lifting my head
I watch the bright moon
Lowering my head
I dream that I'm home.

When the moon is full, mankind is one. Bamboo pulp and oude with green and white tea.

And because I can't make a single decision without consulting the magic 8-ball that is Livejournal...

:D I'm very close to talking myself into doing it - I've made enough from my last imp sale to cover it and the shipping. :)

I forsee buying a lot of the lunar oils this year, because they're running an Asian theme. Unless they put dark musk or jasmine in them, which I know I don't like.

:D I went ahead and put in an order for one, and I'll imp it out as desired, I think. :)

Back at the beginning of November, I put an order in for two bottles and two imp sampler packs, and I should be getting a C-n-S any minute now for them. It's driving me crazy. XD And once I get those, it'll be the Snow Moon order, and then the Holiday Moon order...IT NEVER ENDS

What do oude and bamboo smell like? (The internet fails me in not have a scent-reproduction physical interface for my brain.) I love green tea, though...

Not entirely sure on the bamboo, but I know that I love Neo-Tokyo and it's in there. I'm wondering if it's the grassy note I smell, since bamboo is, technically, a grass, IIRC. I poked around online yesterday looking for oude and discovered that it's also known as agarwood (http://www.pure-incense.com/Agarwood-incense-facts.html) and is a resin traditionally used as incense in Asia. Not that that explains what it smells like, but I'm willing to try. :D
